WillowGlyn Kennels is located on 120 scenic rolling acres north of Gwynne (Alberta, Canada) which is about 30 miles southeast of Alberta's capital city, Edmonton. Our Shelties & Chinese Cresteds live in the house and have a two acre run to play in. Puppies are brought up in the kitchen and family room.
My husband, Merle is a retired design draftsperson and master puppy socializer.
We breed and raise CKC registered Shetland Sheepdogs & Chinese Crested as companions and show dogs. Our goal is to produce physically and mentally sound, intelligent, beautiful Shelties & Cresties with personality plus! We have just about every color of Sheltie except double merle and we encourage each one of our Shelties & Cresties to develop their own unique character and personality.
I am involved in showing our dogs in conformation mostlyand hope to be in the obedience ring again in the future.

Since 1992, we have finished 13 Shetland Sheepdog conformation champions from other breeders and now have bred or co-bred a total of 110 Canadian champions and one American champion. We have bred one Obedience Trial Champion, one Agility Trial Champion, one Rally Intermediate, one Rally Advanced and one Rally Advanced Excellent (RAE7) titlist as well as fifteen CD's and two CDX dogs. All but six of the performance title holders are also conformation champions... proof that beauty and brains can exist together!
